Welcome to NFL Impact. Our scoring system is a custom-engineered "Efficiency Engine." We have moved away from the inflated, arbitrary numbers of "Standard" fantasy leagues to create a scoreboard that mirrors the actual grit and strategy of an NFL Sunday.
In this league, every yard is a battle, every First Down is a victory, and efficiency is the only path to the playoffs.
THE OFFENSIVE ENGINE
Our offensive model rewards the "Action" of football. We prioritize ball security and drive-sustenance over empty volume.
THE QUARTERBACK (The Field General)
PASSING (Global Stat)
Passing Yards: 0.01 Per Yard | Reflects the steady progress of an aerial attack.
Passing Touchdowns: 0.90 Per TD | Guaranteed: 1.05 | Base TD + First Down credit.
Passing First Downs: 0.15 Per FD | Rewards "Clutch" passers for keeping the drive alive.
Completions: 0.04 Per Completion | An accuracy bonus for high-percentage, efficient passing.
Interceptions: -1.00 Per INT | A high-stakes penalty for poor decision-making.
2-Point Conversion (Passing): 0.33 Per Play | Consistent with the action-based value of a scoring strike.
RUSHING
Rushing Yards: 0.03 Per Yard | Standardized ground value across all positions.
Rushing Touchdowns: 1.50 Per TD | Guaranteed: 1.80 | Base TD + First Down credit.
Rushing First Downs: 0.30 Per FD | Rewards the high value of a QB using their legs to reset the downs.
2-Point Conversion (Rushing): 0.50 Per Play | Rewards the physical effort of a goal-line conversion.
Rushing Attempts: -0.10 Per Attempt | The "Scramble Tax"—ensures QBs must be productive.
THE RUNNING BACK (The Workhorse)

Rushing Yards: 0.03 Per Yard | The fundamental metric for every ground gain.
Rushing Touchdowns: 1.50 Per TD | Guaranteed: 1.80 | Base TD + First Down credit.
Rushing First Downs: 0.30 Per FD | Credits the physical effort required to secure a fresh set of downs.
2-Point Conversion (Rushing): 0.50 Per Play | Rewards the grit of a successful goal-line plunge.
RECEIVING
Receiving Yards: 0.33 Per 10 Yards | Reflects the tactical value of moving the ball through the air (0.033/yd).
Receiving Touchdowns: 1.83 Per TD | Guaranteed: 2.28 | Base TD + Catch + First Down credit.
Receptions: 0.30 Per Catch | Rewards the skill of securing a catch out of the backfield.
Receiving First Downs: 0.15 Per FD | Credits the back for extending a drive via the air.
2-Point Conversion (Receiving): 0.61 Per Play | Reflects the high-skill action of a goal-line reception.
WIDE RECEIVER & TIGHT END (The Impact Threats)

Receiving Touchdowns: 1.83 Per TD | WR Guaranteed: 2.28 | TE Guaranteed: 2.48
WR Receptions: 0.30 Per Catch | The base reward for the skill of the reception.
TE Receptions: 0.50 Per Catch | The "TE Premium"—elevates Tight Ends to match elite WR1 value.
Receiving First Downs: 0.15 Per FD | Rewards "Possession" receivers for moving the sticks.
2-Point Conversion (Receiving): 0.61 Per Play | Rewards the precision required for a goal-line catch.
RUSHING
Rushing Yards: 0.03 Per Yard | Credits receivers for jet sweeps, reverses, and gadget plays.
Rushing Touchdowns: 1.50 Per TD | Guaranteed: 1.80 | Base TD + First Down credit.
Rushing First Downs: 0.30 Per FD | Universal standard; rewards athletic, drive-extending runs.
2-Point Conversion (Rushing): 0.50 Per Play | Rewards the effort of a goal-line rush.
INDIVIDUAL DEFENSIVE PLAYERS (IDP)
Our "Low-Decimal" model treats defenders like true specialists. Scoring is additive, meaning a single great play often triggers multiple rewards.
Solo Tackle: 0.11 Per Play | The baseline reward for an individual defender finishing a play.
Assisted Tackle: 0.07 Per Play | Ensures teamwork is rewarded when multiple defenders converge.
Half Sack: 0.40 Per Play | The reward for winning at the line and dropping the QB.
Guaranteed Value (Half Sack): 0.51 Points (0.40 Sack + 0.11 Solo Tackle).
Guaranteed Value (Full Sack): 0.91 Points (0.80 Sack + 0.11 Solo Tackle).
Interception: 1.25 Per Play | Massive points for the secondary’s ability to flip the field.
Guaranteed Value: 1.50 Points (1.25 INT + 0.25 Pass Defensed credit).
Pass Defensed: 0.25 Per Play | Rewards "Lockdown" play for breaking up a pass.
Tackle for Loss (Stuff): 0.25 Per Play | Recognizes defenders who stop a play behind the line of scrimmage.
Guaranteed Value: 0.36 Points (0.25 Stuff + 0.11 Solo Tackle).
Forced Fumble (0.67) / Recovery (0.67): Credits the high-skill action of jarring the ball loose and securing it.
Defensive Touchdown: 1.59 Per TD | The league's "Universal TD Value"—ensures parity across all scoring types.
THE PRECISION KICKER
Scaling the Kicker to a realistic "Support" role ensures the game is won by the playmakers.
Field Goal Made: 0.30 Per FG | Consistent value for all successful field goals.
Extra Point (PAT) Made: 0.10 Per PAT | A realistic credit for a point-after conversion.
Missed Kick/PAT: -0.10 Per Miss | A penalty for inaccuracy that mirrors the value of a successful conversion.
UNIVERSAL MISC & SPECIAL TEAMS
Rare events and momentum-shifters are mathematically anchored to the league standard of 1.59. These points are credited to the individual player responsible.
Kick/Punt Return Yards: 0.01 Per Yd | Provides "Floor Value" for specialists.
Kick/Punt Return TD: 1.59 | Universal TD value for special teams scores.
Fumble Recovery for TD: 1.59 | Standardized reward for scoring on a loose ball.
Interception Return TD: 1.59 | Standardized reward for a Pick-Six.
Fumble Return TD: 1.59 | Standardized reward for a Scoop-and-Score.
Blocked Punt/Kick TD: 1.59 | Rewards the player who secures a blocked ball for a score.
Total Fumble Lost: -0.80 | Exactly half the value of a touchdown (1.59).
2pt Return: 1.00 | Rewards a defender for returning an opponent's conversion attempt.
1pt Safety: 0.50 | Credits the rare safety occurring during a conversion attempt.
Safety / Blocked Kick: 0.80 | Significant rewards for high-impact specialist plays.
